‘I AM IN A STRANGE LOOP TODAY’, 2011

Achilles and the Tortoise decide to have a footrace.
Achilles runs ten times faster than the Tortoise, hence he gives the animal a head start of the ten metres.
The race starts.
But when Achilles reaches the Tortoise's starting point, the Tortoise is already one metre ahead of him.
When Achilles runs that metre, the Tortoise runs a decimetre; when Achilles runs that decimetre, the tortoise runs a centimetre; when Achilles runs that centimetre, the tortoise runs a millimetre; when Achilles runs that millimetre, the tortoise runs a tenth of millimetre, and so on to infinity.
Achilles will run forever never reaching the slow Tortoise.
